After months of preparation, our team started the first switch on the Kassel - Fulda route in Germany on the weekend of April 21, 2023. On behalf of Deutsche Bahn we are renewing the high-speed line here. Approximately 107 kilometers of track will be renewed with large equipment as well as 70 switches and 14 compensation devices. All of this over 18 viaducts and through 27 tunnels! GPS trackers have been installed on all machines, so it is possible to see exactly where all the machines are.
